Transcript: Hello, I’m Kaitie Garland (this is my sign name). Let me introduce myself; I was born and raised in Texas, but for a short time I moved to Virginia while to attend graduate school at Gallaudet University. After graduation I moved back to Texas which I am very excited about and I now live in the Austin area. I have taught ASL for 4 years so far; 2 years in Virginia while in graduate school, now I am back in Austin and teaching ASL here as well. I teach levels 1-4 which keeps me very busy, but it is nice to have the experience. I have one son, his name is Gentry (this is his sign name). My husbands name is Joey (this is his sign name).
